A highly energetic and seasoned performer, Lydia
Adams Davis delivers compelling original songs, folk
and jazz standards and memorable peace ballads, engaging
her audiences in live acoustic performances accompanied
by guitarist John Guth. Lydia has opened for
and sung with Pete Seeger, Tom Paxton, Holly Near, Peter
Yarrow, Utah Phillips and Tom Chapin.

Lydia attracts attention with original, highly educational,
ecology themes using her wild animal puppets with messages
to make a difference in caring for our world. Lydia
works with other performing artists, most recently Kathy
Byers, to present important ideas on our environment
in fun and approachable ways.

A
program of songs and stories inspired by John Steinbeck's
Grapes of Wrath. Lydia Adams Davis presents a tuneful
trek across America in The Great Depression. Cross
the country in an old pickup truck meeting and working
with migrant farm workers singing Union songs in the
camps. Hear Hobo's Lament: dreaming of a job through
the hardships made lighter by song. Tin Pan Alley
tunes will lift the spirit! Join in on dust bowl ballads
of Woody Guthrie and urban country blues.
